Everything a man needs to know20 Classics every man should have in his wardrobe Classics don’t mean boring, use them as a base as you build your own style!  1 A plain grey or navy suit. Even if it’s only worn a few times a year for that special occasion. Wear it formal with a shirt and tie or casual with polo shirt or lightweight sweater. Suit jackets can be teamed with chinos or jeans for a casual / smart look. 2. A black tuxedo. Ever popular and timeless classic, will last for years and will always be there for that special formal occasion. Wear a white dress shirt and a black self-tying bow. (Get the tied version for the dinner and pocket the self-tying for the relaxed look on the dance floor!) 3. An overcoat.
